November 2009 Map Your World through Neogeography

  Neogeography is about people using and creating their own maps, on their own terms, by combining elements of GIS data with their own input, including text, photos, video or audio. Users now have the ability to create their own maps without a formal background or education in geosciences with a basic knowledge of a modern Web browser and the stand-alone Google Earth application.
