Thank you for attending the Student Mixer! We hope you all had fun and learned something interesting from the study abroad experiences that were shared. It was our first mixer, and we’re glad that you took the time to attend the event. We hope to have one more social before the school ends, so if you have any ideas or suggestions as to what we should do the next time, please e-mail us at stufsa@yahoo.com. These events are held for your benefit, so you should let us know what you want!
Also, if you’re a study abroad alumni and would still like to sign up to be an international mentor to provide guidance to prospective study abroad students, you can still do so! Click on the link to the left to download the application. Prospective students and study abroad alumni should both not forget to join our Facebook group to be notified of future events!

Prospective Study Abroad Students:
Students for Study Abroad cordially invites you to the Study Abroad Mixer on Tuesday April 7th at 7 pm in the Gregory Gym Games Room! Come eat free food and hang out with study abroad alumni, international students, and prospective study abroad students. This is a great opportunity to hear about adventure, academics, and culture in your country of choice from the students who have lived there. Find out the places you must see, the things you must do…. and the things you shouldn’t! So come to the Gregory Gym Games Room on Tuesday April 7th for an hour of food, fun, and conversation! Hope to see you there!
Study Abroad Alumni:
Why we want YOU to come: This is a great opportunity for study abroad alumni to give back to the UT community! Simply by answering a few student questions or sharing a few of your experiences abroad, you will greatly help prospective study abroad students navigate the same journey that you have completed successfully! Only YOU have the expertise and the student perspective to offer students interested in going abroad! After all, the info session and the advisors only tell us half the story…
So come out and exchange stories, show off your favorite pictures, answer student questions, and eat delicious food, all while knowing that you are helping UT students take the same brave step you did!
