Mission Statement
Students for Study Abroad is a new student organization at the University of Texas at Austin that is sponsored by the university’s Study Abroad Office. The main purpose of the organization is to promote and help students further their education abroad by providing a network and channel for students to connect with other students who have the same interests.
For example, we have socials held at various restaurants that offer foreign cuisine to provide a fun and relaxing atmosphere for prospective study abroad students to meet study abroad alumni. We don’t only promote study abroad opportunities, but we encourage all forms of education, and that includes studying abroad, interning abroad, or just visiting another country to learn about other countries and their way of life.
