Step 1: Complete the online Information Session module on the Study Abroad website.

Step 2: UT students need to be authorized to apply online, please send an email with your UTEID to the Study Abroad Advisor that is responsible for your program. If you have additional questions please email, call or stop by the International Office, Woolridge Hall, 600 West 24th Street, 2nd floor.

Step 3: Apply! UT students please visit My SAO to complete program requirements. Non UT students please click here for information on programs that are available.

Prerequisite: Two years of college-level Spanish or equivalent Spanish proficiency.

POR 612 - Accelerated Second-Year Portuguese

POR 318 - Conversation and Composition
Taught by ACBEU. To be taken with POR 312L. Three credits.
POR 362 - Advanced Composition
Taught by ACBEU. To be taken with POR 375. Three credits.
POR 375/LAS 370P - Contemporary Brazilian Literature and Culture
Taught by UT Austin faculty member, Sonia Roncador. To be taken with POR 362. Three credits.

PROGRAM COST: $3800
The cost includes the $500 non-refundable deposit,
host family housing including three daily meals,
on-site orientation, student services, course materials,
field trips and international health insurance.
