Program Dates: June 28 - August 22, 2008

Credits Earned — Students earn 6 hours of affiliate credit: 3 for the internship and internship course, and 3 for the academic course. To receive UT internship credit, students are required to attend an internship course and complete coursework.

Internship — Internships are available in virtually all professional fields: private sector businesses, law, professional associations, NGOs, schools, hospitals, political parties,
policy think tanks and lobby groups, parliament and many other areas. Placements will be determined by your interest, prior experience, studies and professional plans.

Applicants should request internships by type of work and industry sector, rather than specific company or organization names. Internships are non-paid.

London internship teams will interview students individually on-campus following application to start to discuss the internship process and individual student goals and expectations for internship placement.

Coursework — As a compliment to the internship, all students take a 3-hour internship Course as well British Life and Cultures (transfers in as HMN 350).

Credits Earned - Students earn 6 hours of affiliate credit: 3 for the internship and internship course, and 3 for the academic course.
