This intensive program aims to considerably improve your knowledge of the Russian language, including your ability to speak correctly and effectively outside the classroom and to integrate you as much as possible into the local culture.

Students take five hours of coursework taught at the Moscow International University (MIU). All courses are taught by local professors. Students are in class for four hours per day, Monday through Thursday, for approximately five weeks. Additionally while in Russia each student will be paired with a Russian tutor to assist with language acquisition skills. The tutor will assist students with assigned coursework and help to involve students in the local culture.

Students live in a MIU dormitory in double occupancy rooms. Also included are a bus and river tour of Moscow, a tour of the Kremlin and the Armory, a trip to Tolstoy Estate in Yasnaya Polyana, a tour of the Tretyakov Art Gallery, a 3-day excursion to St. Petersburg. Excursions, as well as program dates, are subject to change.
