Moscow

MOSCOW PLUS

THE PROGRAM

The Department of Slavic and Eurasian Studies is pleased to offer a program for intensive study of Russian at all levels: beginning, intermediate, and advanced. In the
Moscow Plus program, students can earn one full year of Russian language in 10 weeks through the combination of course work at UT plus five weeks in Moscow.

The American Council of Teachers of Russian (ACTR) will coordinate the academic and cultural program in Russia. With offices in Washington and Moscow, ACTR is exceptionally well equipped to ensure the best possible experience for our students. A full-time Resident Director from ACTR, as well as a senior UT graduate student, will staff the program in Moscow.

The program is open to all students with at least a 2.0 GPA and who meet the course prerequisites. Graduate students are also welcome. Interested students should register for the first session course in first year, second year, or third year Russian through the Department of Slavic and Eurasian Studies, and the corresponding second session course through the Study Abroad Office by the February 15, 2009 deadline. Students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
