GETTING STARTED

Step 1: Complete the Online Information Session module on the Study Abroad website. To learn more specific information about the program please attend a Summer information session held by program faculty and staff.

Step 2: UT students need to be authorized to apply online. Please send an email with your UTEID to the Study Abroad Coordinator that is responsible for your program. If you have additional questions please email, call or stop by the International Office, Woolridge Hall, 600 West 24th Street, 2nd floor.

Step 3: Apply! UT students please visit My SAO to complete program requirements. Non UT students please click here for information on programs that are available.

First Session Completed at UT: Students pay regular UT tuition for 3/4/5 hours depending upon language level for either in-state or out-of-state residents, plus living expenses in Austin.

PREREQUISITE: Completion of 1st Year Russian or Equivalent
RUS f324 - Third-Year Russian Language I

Second Session Courses Completed in Russia*: July 13 - August 15

Courses will be equivalent to:

RUS 507 - First-Year Russian Language II
PREREQUISITE: Completion of 1st Year Russian I
RUS 412L + 119S - Second-Year Russian Language II
PREREQUISITE: Completion of 2nd Year Russian I
RUS 325 + RUS 229S - Third-Year Russian Language II
PREREQUISITE: Completion of 3rd Year Russian I

COSTS

First Session:
Students pay regular UT tuition for 3/4/5 hours depending upon language level for either in-state or out-of-state residents, plus living expenses in Austin.

Second Session: $5200 - $5300
Program Fee included the following:
Costs for the second session in Russia, deposit, Visa processing fees, Tuition and fees in Moscow, accommodation at MIU dormitory, two meals per day (breakfast & lunch), airport transportation/transfers, excursions, a 3-day all-inclusive trip to St. Petersburg, health insurance and an onsite resident director.


Affiliate Program Fee: $400
Application Fee: $50

Additional expenses may include, but are not limited to, passport, air fare, immunizations, city travel, extra meals, and personal entertainment. Miscellaneous expenses will vary by student.
