GETTING STARTED

Step 1: Complete the Online Information Session module on the Study Abroad website. To learn more specific information about the program please attend a Summer information session held by program faculty and staff.

Step 2: UT students need to be authorized to apply online. Please send an email with your UTEID to the Study Abroad Coordinator that is responsible for your program. If you have additional questions please email, call or stop by the International Office, Woolridge Hall, 600 West 24th Street, 2nd floor.

Step 3: Apply! UT students please visit My SAO to complete program requirements. Non UT students please click here for information on programs that are available.

 

Prague

PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC

IMAGE AND WORD IN CENTRAL EUROPE

The Prague program is a faculty-led option offered by The University of Texas at Austin College of Communication, the College of Liberal Arts and the College of Fine Arts.

Students register in two courses for a total of six credits: The documentary photography taught by UT professor Dennis Darling and a second course in Czech Studies which is also cross-listed with Art history and taught by a local professor.  Both courses are taught in English.

Student housing is arranged by the program.

The students and faculty are supported by onsite staff who offer student orientation and coordination throughout the program.  

The staff are available around the clock in case of emergencies.   

Open to undergraduates and graduate students in good academic standing.
