Transfer Credit Evaluations for | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| (also available in PDF format) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
UT Austin transfer evaluations for Austin Community College courses are listed below, organized by A.C.C. prefix. Evaluations are certified only for credit earned in the 2009-2010 academic year. Evaluations for past A.C.C. courses are available using the ATE System. See the notes page to interpret transfer credit evaluations. Transfer credit recommendations for specific UT degree programs are provided in the ACC/UT Transfer Guides. A.C.C. course numbers have four-letter prefixes and the second digit denotes semester hour value. A.C.C. retains some older numbers with three-letter prefixes, in which the fourth digit denotes credit value. Some disciplines use both numbering systems (e.g. PSYC and PSY for Psychology). Some evaluations are modified UT course numbers with credit values different than normally offered at UT; in such cases the first digit differs from that appearing in the UT catalog. For credit values less than normally offered at UT, transfer credit substitutes for the UT course of higher value at the discretion of the student's academic dean's office. Retired UT courses may be used in transfer evaluations; such credit still applies toward current degree requirements. Evaluations with no specific UT course number (e.g. ART 3 hrs) represent generic transfer credit hours in a subject. Some natural science courses transfer as generic credit. FLAB or SLAB denotes freshman or sophomore combined lecture/laboratory credit; FRMN or SOPH, freshman or sophomore lecture credit; and LAB, lower-division laboratory credit. |
