Graduate Change of Major

You should apply for Graduate Change of Major if:

• You are a current or former UT graduate student;
• You wish to register in a different graduate program from the one in which you were last enrolled at UT Austin

If you are not applying for Graduate Change of Major, select another option for applying:

• If you were not enrolled in the previous long semester (fall or spring) and you wish to register in the same graduate program in which you were last enrolled at UT Austin, review the information for Graduate Readmission.
• If you are a former UT undergraduate student seeking to enroll in the Graduate School for the first time, review the information for U.S. Graduate Admission.
• To seek readmission to your undergraduate major, review the information for Undergraduate Readmission.
• To apply to law school, consult the UT School of Law web site.
