Graduate Readmission-How Your Application is Processed

  1. After you submit your online application and fee payment (or approved Leave of Absence form), your UT application record is created and the data is entered on the University's administrative computer system.
  2. You may check the status of your application using your University Electronic Identification (UT EID) and password.
  3. Your GRE/GMAT scores should already be on file; however, your graduate program may require an updated score. Check with the graduate coordinator in your graduate program for more information.
  4. We match the supporting documents that you have sent by mail to your file. (During peak processing times, this can take 14-21 business days.)
  5. Your credentials are evaluated and complete files are referred to the graduate adviser in your program for a decision.
  6. Official notification of the decision will be mailed to your permanent address. The decision will also be posted on the online status check
