Bevo Bucks is the easy-to-use, cashless form of payment accessible through the student ID Card. Like a debit card, Bevo Bucks is a prepaid account that students use to purchase food, goods and services both on and off campus.

With Bevo Bucks, your student has access to all the necessities of campus life--without the need to carry cash, checks or credit cards. Since Bevo Bucks is a debit card your student can never spend more than is deposited in the account. No more worries about bounced checks or credit card bills and interest payments!

There are no monthly service fees or minimum balance requirements and any unspent funds rollover to the next semester and are refundable at graduation. Cash withdrawals are prohibited so some non-Bevo Bucks funds should be available in case your student needs cash. Cardholder statements detailing every transaction are available electronically using the system.

Bevo Bucks is a safe and convenient way to spend money. You and your student add bucks to an account held by the University. Students can spend their bucks at any participating merchant on or off campus.

How can I add money to my student's account?

First, you must make sure that your student has joined the Bevo Bucks program.

Then there are two ways to add money, send a gift certificate or become an eProxy for the Bevo Bucks Web Site.

Send your student Bevo Bucks as a gift!

You can purchase a Bevo Bucks Gift Certificate. Money will be added to a Bevo Bucks account and a gift certificate can be delivered via email to the student. Alternatively, you can choose to have your gift sent via traditional mail.

Become an eProxy for the Bevo Bucks Web Site

You will need to become an for the Bevo Bucks system and the What I Owe page before you can add money to your student's Bevo Bucks account. Go to and follow the instructions to get authorizations from your student.

As an eProxy you can:

• Add a bill to your student's account from the Bevo Bucks Web Site.
• Pay for the Bevo Bucks bill by sending a check or by paying from the What I Owe page.
• Add Bevo Bucks to your student's account - anytime day or night!
• View their balance and account history.
• Budget their spending by adding money monthly.
