Exploring Majors
Undergraduate Degrees at UT
There are over 100 degree options available at The University of Texas at Austin. This list is organized by colleges and includes types of degrees available, majors, and concentrations within majors.
Here are some relevant pieces of information for you to keep in mind while using this handout:
• We have not listed "undeclared " majors within this handout. However, being "undeclared" while enrolled in a specific college is possible and in some instances required for your first few years.
• Many colleges offer and/or require you to select a minor; this list can help you identify some possibilities.
• Degree options and requirements DO change so we recommend using this list as a starting point and consulting with academic advisors in the individual colleges for the most up-to-date details regarding majors, minors, concentrations, and course selection.
• Visit http://www.utexas.edu/student/admissions/ugdegrees.html for links to these academic programs.
