CEC Services For Alumni

Alumni are welcome to make use of the CEC library. Our library is open to the public during regular CEC hours.

Alumni are eligible for CEC counseling if they meet the following two criteria: what do you want to do when you grow up

If you graduated from UT-Austin within the last 12 months, you are eligible to receive counseling for the modest fee of $15 per session, payable by check or credit card.
If you are not sure what career direction to pursue, CEC counseling can help. If you already know the field or industry you are considering and you need help with job search assistance, then see if your college’s career service office serves their alumni. The CEC does not provide job search assistance.

Alumni who graduated more than 12 months ago can seek services via Texas Exes or call the CEC to get names of career counselors in the Austin community.

Call the CEC if you have further questions or need to clarify your eligibility to receive counseling services.
