Hours And Activities
Typical weekly schedule for practicum in Fall, Spring, or Summer semesters:
- 10 hours for counseling (or more if needed to meet your program’s requirements, particularly for Summer semester)
- 1 hour for individual supervision meeting
- 1.5 hours for staff meeting or case conference (Thurs 9:15-10:45am)
- 1 hour for writing case notes
Approximate hours per week = 13.5
Additional activities during the semester:
- Observe front desk during first month for training purposes.
- Participate in staff development trainings each semester.
- Observe relevant CEC presentations.
- Develop and implement a special project (optional).
