What Are Career Tests?
Career tests measure different aspects of yourself as they relate to your career options. For instance, some measure personality traits while others will measure your interests. Career tests are often a helpful tool as you explore majors and careers.
While taking a career test can provide valuable information, please understand that no career test is comprehensive enough to give you a definitive answer to "What should I do?"
The results you obtain from career testing can provide you with more information about yourself, offer new career ideas, and/or help confirm options you may have already been considering.
At the CEC, we view career testing as one of the many ways to learn about yourself and your career options. We believe that career tests are most beneficial when incorporated into a larger, more comprehensive career counseling process.
