Undecided?

Are you uncertain about your major or your career direction? You are not alone! Most UT students change their major at least one time during their college career. And most career decisions aren’t made for a lifetime. arrows in all directions

Being undecided can actually be to your advantage. As you actively explore your options, you will probably be:

  • More open to seeing new opportunities
("What is a Compcierge anyway and how can I become one?")

  • More motivated to reflect upon what is really interesting and important to you
("I really do like sports trivia and love to be outdoors.")

  • More able to determine which skills you want to use
("I’m pretty good at Math, but I’d rather use my analytical skills to help diagnose illness rather than crunch numbers.")

There are many factors to take into account as you choose your major or career AND, you don’t have to figure this out on your own. We encourage you set up a counseling appointment to help you in your process of exploring and identifying your next steps.
