Abdominal Breathing. The breath is the cornerstone of relaxation and meditation.  Learning to breathe abdominally can assist with symptoms of stress, anxiety, insomnia, and many physical and emotional symptoms that might be brought on by stress.

Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR). PMR is helpful for symptoms of stress and anxiety.  The goal of PMR is to learn to recognize and alleviate tension in your body.

Imagery. Guided imagery is a relaxation technique appropriate for general relaxation, insomnia, and stress reduction.

Mindfulness Meditation (MF). Mindfulness and meditation are both practices that have many health benefits.  In addition to aiding in the treatment of stress, anxiety, and depression, it can serve as a compliment to treatment for pain, high blood pressure, insomnia, headaches, some gastrointestinal problems, and other medical conditions.  Mindfulness is the moment-to-moment non-judgmental awareness, and the practice of meditation is a way to cultivate this awareness.

Self Healing. These tracks will lead you through self-hypnosis in order to help you better understand the presence of physical or emotional symptoms, access inner resources to address these symptoms, and to apply active change to daily life.

Biofeedback. The biofeedback equipment used in this lab is a device the size of a computer mouse that takes readings from your fingers as a means of physiologically determining your level of stress.
