Beyond the Classroom:
ESL Computer Lab
Our lab allows you to do hundreds of activities for language
learning, such as conducting research on the Internet, accessing audio
files, and having on-line discussions with classmates.
Field Trips
Explore historic places, such as San Antonio's famous River Walk,
and see Texas scenery at a reasonable cost. Family members and friends can
join.
PALS The Partnership
to Advance Language Studies and Cultural Exchange program matches international
and US students for conversation and fun.
WHAT Get out and explore Austin with Whatís
Happening Around Town, a weekly newsletter prepared especially for
ESL students.
TGIF! Join
other students and faculty for conversation and lunch at Thank Goodness
Itís Friday! for social activities such as bowling, happy hours, and international potluck lunches.
ESL End-of-the-Semester Reception

members of all programs, their families, and faculty.
