Each semester, ESL Services hosts a mid-semester activity for all of the students. Traditionally, this activity has been a picnic. The picnic features delicious Texas BBQ, activities such as basketball, a raffle, music, and general good times. Held at mid semester in Austin's Pease Park, the ESL Services Picnic is one to remember. Students often recall meeting life long friends at this event. The Texas Union Underground has also been the site of the mid-semester activity.
