IX. Registration for UT Austin Internet EDI Server To register your institution for use of the Server, send the following information to regist@ediserver.reg.utexas.edu: 1. A 2-character code taxonomy qualifier and the code for your institution within that taxonomy. Most postsecondary schools use code qualifier 22 (for FICE). These would be the codes used in the ISA envelope (X12 Data Elements I05 and I06: example 24/6882 for ATP (Admissions Testing Program, used by Educational Testing Service to deliver SAT scores to postsecondary recipients) code set, University of Texas at Austin). 2. Institution Name: Institution State: 3. Name and phone number of contact person: Name: Phone: 4. To warn institutions against unknowingly sending production transcripts to a school not yet fully ready to receive, process, and acknowledge, we have added a "test-only message" switch. This causes "*** test only **" to display on the Registrant List (updated weekly on the UT Austin SPEEDE website). Test Only Msg.: ____ (Y/N) 5. Encryption of documents from the SPEEDE server is required. If you wish, you can use PGP for encryption. If you choose PGP, please email your PGP public key to us as an email attachment. Your key must be extracted using ASCII armor (see PGP documentation). You must use RSA rather than DSS/Diffie-Hellman keys. When you deliver it, we will set your PGP switch. If you would prefer not to use PGP, then you must use another form of encryption such as sftp, active ftps, or passive ftps (see question 8) to receive data from the SPEEDE server. 6. Preferred time for deliveries to be made to your system by the Server (example 18:30 for 6:30 P.M.). You may specify immediate delivery if you wish. This would cause most deliveries to be in separate physical files unless you specify the append option in #12.f.(2). Or, you may specify a range of times, such as 0400- 1100. Please choose only one of the following three options: Preferred time: __:__ __ (AM or PM) Time Zone: ____ *or* Acceptable Range: _______ thru ________. *or* Quick Delivery: ________ (Y/N) 7. If you wish the Server to never deliver your files to an institution which does not use encryption, please so specify. In this one event, if you ask it to, the Server will enforce your institutional decision (see XXV.(2)). Enforce PGP: ___________ (Y/N) 8. Specify whether you wish to receive via e-mail or FTP. E-mail _________ FTP ___________ SFTP ____________ FTPS (Passive) _________ FTPS (Active)_________ 9. Y or N for whether you want e-mail notification of receipt of each transmission by the Server. ______ (Y/N) 10. E-mail address for notifications, acknowledgements, correspondence, and problems. ______________________________________ 11.
