The Tenant Advisory Board (TAB) is composed of tenants who meet twice a month to address issues and concerns of University Apartments life. The board consists of eight members: two students from each of the three apartment complexes, one Community Advisor and one Facilities staff person. TAB members serve two-year terms.
The TAB will address issues and concerns of University Apartment life during our fall and spring meetings. All residents are welcome to attend TAB meetings. A schedule of our fall and spring meetings is listed below:
Time: 12:00 - 1:30PM
Location: Texas Governor's Room (Room 3.116) at the Union
All residents are invited to attend our meetings. This semester, our meetings will be held from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. in the Texas Governor's Room (Room 3.116) at the Texas Union.
We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming meetings!
The TAB not only reviews tenant appeals on charges or discipline, but also examines issues such as shuttle bus schedule, maintenance problems or areas of concern to residents. Recommendations for changing or implementing policies and long-term strategic planning for the apartments are other responsibilities of the TAB.
For more information about the TAB, please contact your Community Advisor or the Apartments office.
