(Diversity) Dakota 38 is a film that documents the memorial ride to Mankato, Minnesota by members of the Dakota Indian Tribe. It is a story of the largest mass hanging in U.S. history, which took place over 148 years ago in Mankato, Minnesota. Dialogue will take place after the viewing of the film. Learning Outcome: Participants will have a basic understanding of the history surrounding the Dakota 38 tragedy.
