Tour Our Communities
Residence Hall Tours
We offer tours in each of our three main campus communities: Whitis Area Community, Jester Center Community and Waller Creek Community. Starting Spring 2014, students and families interested in taking a residence hall tour will need to sign up ahead of time. Click here to sign up for a residence hall tour. Tours are offered daily when classes are in session.
In the Whitis Area Community, we offer a tour through Kinsolving Hall, one of our women's only residence halls. In the Jester Center Community, we offer a tour through Jester West and Jester East, our largest residence halls on campus. And in the Waller Creek Community, we offer a tour through San Jacinto Hall, one of our newer residence halls.
Tours include a guided look at a show room, residence hall features, common areas and other helpful information about the living on campus experience. And, FYI, we don't call them dorms anymore, as there is so much more to living on-campus than the bed you sleep in.
For more information regarding specific tours click here to sign up. All tours begin at their specific hall front desks. The Jester Center tour will begin at the Jester West front desk.
Living On Campus Info Sessions
Housing and Food Service offers Living On Campus Info Sessions most Friday afternoons. During the Info Session, you will learn about the different residence hall communities on campus, the meal plan, prices and billing, room assignments and more. While the Info Session does not include a residence hall tour (you can sign up for those separately), we will be showing videos and photos of nearly all of the halls on campus. We'll also have plenty of time for Q&A. The Living On Campus Info Session typically lasts 45 minutes. Click here to sign up for a Living On Campus Info Session.

Can't Make It to a Tour?
If you can't make it to a tour, or want to see a room in one of the residence halls not featured, visit our Hall Pages. Our individual Hall Pages provide you with photos, videos, and real student testimonials about that hall. It's a great way to visit campus without leaving your computer.
