Administrative Accomplishments

  1. Averaged over 100% occupancy for every year since 1995.
  2. Implemented Bevo Bucks swipe card program that is accepted at 87 locations on and off campus and laundry and vending machines on campus.
  3. A new Time Keeping System for Facilities, Building Services and Food Service employees was installed. This system helps managers of our revenue centers manage their labor expense.
  4. Completed SSN remediation and Y2K conversion of all DHFS computer systems.
  5. Computer servers were upgraded and relocated to ensure redundancy and reliability.
  6. Completed "Environments for Learning" brochure and distributed to various Faculty, Staff, National Associations, parents and students. This brochure explains how students learn outside of the classroom while they are living in the residence hall.
  7. Created record retention process for storing employee files and vaccination records electronically.
  8. Designed and implemented a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to track and report on employment related initiatives and processes.
  9. Implemented web applications that support every aspect of the student experience of living on campus including:

  11. All correspondence with students was converted from paper to electronic which resulted in the decrease in paper, postage and staff time.
  12. Created a payroll team by using current staff to concentrate on preparing the semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time.
  13. Created "Live.Here. Live.More." recruiting booklet to hand out to prospective students.
  14. Created "Bevo is Not a Cow" a freshman guide to success for all residents and incoming freshman.
  15. Manage social networks, cable info channel, enewsletter, email and update webpages in an effort to have open communication with parents and students
