DHFS provides daily healthy suggestions that can be accessed from our online menu or from the nutrition information centers located in all DHFS dining locations. Just look for this icon placed next to our menu listings to see our healthy picks for the day.

1Calories: Based on 2,000 calories a day, an intake level appropriate for an average person who is trying to maintain a healthy weight.

2Saturated fat: Meets the daily target of less than 7% of all calories obtained in the diet from saturated fat (American Heart Association).
Note: 7% target applies to an entire day's intake and is not a limit for each individual food item.

3Sodium: Based on the 2,300 mg per day goal set by the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans (Institute of Medicine).
