The purpose of the DHFS Wellness Program is to sustain a workplace culture that encourages and supports healthy lifestyle choices as well as personal and professional productivity. The DHFS Wellness Program is provided in partnership with the Division of Recreational Sports and coordinated by the Office of Organizational Diversity and Development.

Current Wellness Class Descriptions
Active Stretch:This class is a low impact, stress relief class that emphasizes the importance of stretching and active gentle stretching. This class focuses solely on flexibility and increasing your flexibility.
Active Yoga:Challenge and connect your mind and body with yoga poses, conscious breathing and relaxation techniques. Remember - yoga is an individual practice, where all judgment, competition, and expectations are let go, and the focus is internal and on your own practice that day. *Yoga participants should bring their own sticky/yoga mat.
Boot camp: a mix of cardio and strength training with an emphasis on body weight exercises and developing and training all three of your energy systems.
Gentle Yoga: Are you new to Yoga? Join us for this introductory-style Yoga class, tailored to beginners.
Total Body: This class incorporates different exercises to condition your entire body.
Zumba Dance: Join the fun in Zumba Dance! This dance workout fuses Latin and international music for a fun and dynamic total body workout.
