Emergency Evacuation Manual -
During a Crisis or Emergency

Have These Things Ready

1. Go Bag. Have a weekend bag set and ready to go at a moment's notice. Keep toiletries and 2 sets of clothing inside, as well as CASH.
2. Flashlight. Always have a flashlight and batteries in your room just in case the power is out.
3. AM/FM portable radio. iPods are nice, but they do not connect to the local radio stations to give you information about emergency situations.
4. First Aid Kit/Medications. Make sure to keep your prescriptions filled, and have basic first aid tools, just in case.
5. Non-perishable foods. In case the power goes out for an extended period of time, and you need something to munch on!
6. Important Documents. Always know where your passport, birth certificate, SS Card, and medical paperwork are. Keep them all together in a secure place.
