Exemption from Fees
Fee exemptions are issued only for the period in which a student is currently enrolled; therefore, applications must be submitted no later than commencement day at the end of the spring semester or the official graduation date at the end of the summer session or fall semester. Detailed information about fee exemptions is in the table that begins below.

Waivers
Waivers indicate that a portion of the tuition and/or required fees does not have to be paid. A student will still be responsible for payment of the remaining tuition and/or required fees not covered by the waiver. Waivers are issued only for the period in which a student is currently enrolled; therefore, applications must be submitted no later than commencement day at the end of the spring semester, or the official graduation date at the end of the summer session or fall semester.

Third Party Billing
Agencies outside UT Austin may set up third party billing arrangements which pay any portion of a student's tuition and fees. A student will still be responsible for payment of the remaining tuition and/or fees not covered by the third party. Arrangements must be made in advance with the Special Billing Office, Main Building 4.
