The Joseph D. Jamail Pavilion
The Joseph D. Jamail Pavilion, which connects two law school buildings: Townes Hall and the John B. Connally Center for the Administration of Justice. Named for the Houston trial lawyer, a University alumnus and benefactor, the pavilion is often the site of receptions and other special events. The background photograph is of limestone, which is indigenous to the Austin area and has been used in the construction of many University buildings.
