Political, social, and economic changes in the nineteenth century: the Second Republic; the Spanish Civil War; the Franco Era and the transition to democracy after 1975. Prerequisite: Upper-division standing.
376F. The United States and the Second World War.
Restricted to students in the Normandy Scholars Program. Three lecture hours a week for one semester, and approximately three weeks of study in France. History 366N (Topic 7: The United States and the Second World War) and 376F may not both be counted. Partially fulfills legislative requirement for American history.
376G. Hitler, Nazism, and World War II.
Restricted to students in the Normandy Scholars Program. Three lecture hours a week for one semester, and approximately three weeks of study in France. History 366N (Topic 11: Hitler, Nazism, and World War II) and 376G may not both be counted.
679H. Honors Tutorial Course.
An individual instruction course to provide training in the methods and teaching of historical research and writing. The equivalent of three semester hours a week for two semesters. May not be included in the thirty semester hours of coursework required for the major. Prerequisite: For 679HA, upper-division standing and admission to the History Honors Program; for 679HB, History 679HA.
