Horns Helping Horns
UT Students Getting a Strong Start

Who We Are
Horns Helping Horns supports students who are orphans, independent or wards of the state, and who enter the university with little to no family support. Horns Helping Horns provides not only school supplies and necessities for these students, but a sense of community as they begin their college careers. University staff and faculty mentors assist HHH students in making critical early decisions that set the course for academic success and full participation in campus life.

What We Do
Many HHH students lack the most basic items that transform a dorm room into a home-away-from-home, as well as into an important learning space. To help with this transition, Horns Helping Horns supplies students with textbooks and basic living supplies such as linens, dishes and personal care items.

"Anything we can do to help these students compete and become a part of a complete learning experience is a win for all of us who believe in the power of education to transform lives and build a better society." - Vice President for Student A airs Juan González

"With the help of Horns Helping Horns I spend more time focusing on my school-work and less time worrying about nancial problems." -Lydia, Freshman Horns Helping Horns Student

How You Can Help
We invite you to sponsor textbooks for a Horns Helping Horns Student for $500 a semester or $1,000 a year, and to give our students the extra support and care they need to reach their full potential.
