Walk-in Counseling offers you an opportunity to talk privately with a learning specialist regarding your academic experiences at the University. No appointment is needed.
Students come to discuss topics such as how to balance study and leisure time, how to design a study plan for a difficult course, how to take and prepare for exams, how to keep up with reading, and how to prepare for graduate school exams. The UT Learning Center is also the primary resource on campus for students any time they are not satisfied with their current grades.

Any time the UT Learning Center is open -- Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm -- you can walk into Jester A332A and visit for fifteen or twenty minutes with a learning specialist. No appointment is necessary. Longer follow-up appointments can be scheduled if needed.
This service is open to all UT students, including graduate students, and the UT Learning Center staff encourages any student interested in increasing study effectiveness and efficiency to visit the UT Learning Center.
