The Campus Outreach program provides interactive presentations and exhibits to the UT student community. Our progams range from casual discussions with small groups to large-scale exhibits that reach hundreds of people. We cover a wide variety of topics, including time management, making a successful transition to college, metacognition, and growing your academic talent.
A well-trained, knowledgeable staff of undergraduate Peer Educators are presenters at most of our outreach events. We have found the peer-to-peer relationship is a powerful and effective means for connecting the UT Learning Center to the university community. Professional Learning Center staff members are also available upon request.
Put together, these programs create a powerful curriculum for academic success. For maximum effectiveness, we recommend students participate in each of these programs, and in a particular sequence. Details are provided in the following schematic:
