Campus Programs FAQ.

I’ve requested a program. Now what? How soon will I hear back?

You should receive an automatic response immediately verifying we’ve received your request. Then, within 7-10 days, you should receive another email from the Peer Educator assigned to the program. This email is to confirm the date, time, place, program requested, number of attendees, and to address any other information the Peer Educator might need.

Can I request more than 1 program?

Yes, we have 8 different programs available and you may request as many as you’d like, as often as you’d like

Can I call or come by the office to request a program?

No, we prefer to have the online system handle our requests in order to minimize human error (forgetting, losing the information, etc), so we ask that everyone fill out the online request form.

Can I get extra copies of the handouts given during the presentation?

Yes, you may come by the office to get as many copies as you need or email sbarrington@mail.utexas.edu for a PDF version to download and/or print from your own computer.

Can I request a specific Peer Educator?

Yes, on the online request form there is a space for additional comments, simply put the name of the Peer Educator you would like to request in that space.
