Elisabeth Moreno, PhD
Program Director
Supplemental Instruction (SI)
Elisabeth Moreno has a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature and serves as the Program Director for Supplemental Instruction (SI). In addition to her administrative program responsibilities, she recruits, trains and supervises SI leaders in the Liberal Arts and teaches GRE verbal review classes, writing workshops and speed reading. She takes personal appointments on writing process and reading. She is also managing editor of the Journal of College Reading and Learning.
Beth has lived in Germany and Mexico City which has resulted in the unusual ability to dish up jalapeno drenched potato pancakes. She enjoys playing the piano (but only if the music is at least 150 years old). And she rode so hard on her children that her daughter escaped to New York City (where as a lawyer she puts evil doers behind bars) and her son defected to Toronto, Canada, where he plays the cello.
