Student Body President

Current President: Keshav Rajagopalan keshavr@austin.utexas.edu

The President is elected by the members of the student body and shall serve as the representative of the students to the administration of the University of Texas at Austin, to the Board of Regents of the University of Texas System, to the City of Austin, and to the Texas Legislature. The President nominates or appoints students to serve on University committees and board, with advice and consent of the Assembly.

Student Body Vice President

Current Vice President: Frankie Shulkin fshulkin@austin.utexas.edu

The Vice President is elected by the members of the student body and presides over the Assembly of which he or she shall have no vote unless they be equally divided. The Vice President serves on committees, boards and legislateive bodies of which he or she is a member and also assists the President with assigned responsibilities. Should the President be unavailable to fulfill the duties of the office, the Vice President shall succeed to the Presidency.

Executive Director

The Executive Director is appointed by the President and approved by a 2/3 approval of the Assembly. The Executive Director monitors all internal operations of Student Government as defined by the President.

Internal Financial Director

Current Internal Financial Director: Priti Joshi priti.y.joshi@gmail.com

The Internal Financial Director is appointed by the President and approved by a 2/3 approval of the Assembly. The Internal Financial Director manages the finances of Student Government, assists the President in developing the annual budget and fiscal reports, and presents to the Assembly a report and recommendation based on the fiscal impact of all bills with the appropriations of funds.

External Financial Director

Current External Financial Director: Taylor Ellison tke@mail.utexas.edu

The External Financial Director is appointed by the President and approved by a 2/3 approval of the Assembly. The External Financial Director investigates and suggests methods of requiring additional sources of funding and represents Student Government before the Judicial Commission and the Appellate Court.

Communications Director

The Communications Director is appointed by the President and approved by a 2/3 approval of the Assembly. The Communications Director facilitates the internal and external communications of Student Government and represents Student Government in communications with the media.

Administrative Director

The Administrative Director is appointed by the President and approved by a 2/3 approval of the Assembly. The Administrative Director creates and maintains a record of the activities of Student Government.
