Get Involved
Student Government meetings are every Tuesday at 7:00 P.M. in the Glenn Maloney Room on the ground floor of the Student Services Building. Meetings are open, and all members of the University of Texas community are encouraged to come.
If you would like to speak to the Assembly, sign up for Open Forum before the meeting starts.
There are always projects and initiatives going on in Student Government that can use more student input. If you would like to get involved in a Student Government Agency or Project, contact Executive Director Natalie Butler (Natalie.e.butler@gmail.com) or Communications Director Danielle Brown (Daniellebrown@austin.utexas.edu) for more information.
If you are interested in running for President, Vice President, or a Representative position, check back for more information on elections at the beginning of the spring semester.
FRESHMEN ONLY
Freshman Leadership Organization (FLO)
The purpose of the Freshman Leadership Organization is to provide members with the leadership and networking skills necessary to become good leaders. We fulfill this mission by bringing freshmen of all backgrounds, interests, and majors together while providing them a positive, friendly environment in which we teach them how to maximize their leadership potential both on and off campus during their stay at the University of Texas.
To become a member, all you have to do is come to meetings and participate! Meetings are held every Thursday at 6:00pm in the Glenn Maloney Room (SSB G1.310). The first meeting will be on Thursday, September 3, 2009.
Please contact Director Louis Armendariz (Louis.m.arm@gmail.com) or visit WWW.UTFLO.ORG for more information.
