This is a campus-wide survey about student, faculty, and staff’s use of Information Technology Services (ITS). Components of ITS have been formerly known as ACITS, ACS, the Computation Center, and Department of Telecommunications (Telephone Services). As of the summer of 2001, all of the services offered by these organizations are now ITS services.
Participation in this voluntary survey is limited to students, faculty, and staff who received invitations to respond. All individual answers are considered confidential, and will not be available for public review. In other words, response data will be reported only in summary forms that protect individual privacy. For more information about your privacy rights, see the University's Web Privacy Policy page.
Please answer all questions to the best of your ability. Your answers are important whether or not the questions seem to apply well to you. It should take no longer than 15 or 20 minutes for you to carefully complete the survey.
Use your mouse to click your answers. At the bottom of each survey section, you will be asked to click on a "Go On to Next Section" button in order to store your responses in the survey database. If your Internet connection is lost before you complete the survey, please return to this survey page, log in as you did initially, and you will be able to begin with the first question after your last "Go on" selection, rather than starting the survey over from the first question.
After you complete the survey and click on the final "Go on" button, you will see a message that thanks you for completing the survey and confirms that you have been automatically entered in the drawing for one of the "virtual door prizes" (a $20 gift certificate from your choice of the following stores: Barnes and Nobel's, Book People, Tower Records, Waterloo Records, Central Market, or H. E. B.).
If you have questions or comments about this survey, or if you need a paper version of the survey, you are welcome to get in touch with us by calling Dr. Nathan Marti at (512) 475-9217 or sending an e-mail message to utsurvey@uts.cc.utexas.edu.
Please log in to the survey (requires UT-EID).
