During calendar year 2003, over 20,000 unique users downloaded a total of 180,671 files from the Bevoware site.
The site averaged about 5,000 download per month until the release of Bevoware 2.0 in July. Downloads increased significantly at that time because we had new anti-virus and firewall software available and because of the many problems with viruses and unpathced systems at those times. The graph below illustrates the download activity by month.
A simple report was also prepared to illustrate the demographics of people who downloaded programs from Bevoware. This report contains graphs illustrating distribution of students, faculty and staff who downloaded software from the Bevoware site in calendar year 2003.
