The table below illustrates what links people click from the Computing Web page. I sampled the referer_log from www.utexas.edu/computer/ to compile this data. The referer_log basically shows which page a person came from. A sample log entry looks like this:
http://www.utexas.edu/computer/ -> /computer/accounts/
This log entry indicates someone hit the /computer/accounts/ page from the http://www.utexas.edu/computer/ URL, essentially they clicked the Accounts link on the Computing Web page. I selected all hits in a one week time span (May 26 - June 2) that came from http://www.utexas.edu/computer/. Percentages are shown rather than raw numbers, because I only grabbed statistics from one of the two Web Central machines.
