Jonathan Cardoza
My name is Jonathan Cardoza and I’m a senior here at UT. My major is government I’m also working towards a minor in business. My plans after graduation are to attend law school and hopefully even have my own practice. I’m from “Small Town America” called Danbury. You can try looking it up on a map; odds are that you won’t probably find it. Coming here to Austin has been one of the greatest decisions I have ever done.
I enjoy being active; I have played in many IM teams in soccer and football. I also enjoy hanging out with friends. I like to discover new places to eat in Austin because food is great.
As a freshman I was also in TIP, and it made my life a lot easier. I graduated from a high school class of 55 students, so making the transition from high school to UT was hard, but thanks to my mentor everything turned out fine. Reason I wanted to become a mentor was because I wanted to help freshman with their transition. For the next four years you will learn about yourself, about your dreams, and what it is that you want to accomplish. This is will be my second year as a mentor, I loved it so much that I decided to mentor again.
I look forward in becoming your mentor and being a positive part of your freshman experience. |
