Daniel Zarazua

Hello! My name is Daniel Zarazua. I am an undeclared Liberal Arts sophomore; however, as of now I am leaning towards the Humanities Program. I grew up in El Paso, TX, before moving into the great city of Austin. I am excited to be a TIP Mentor next year because I want to help incoming students transition themselves from high school. I was in your position last year and know exactly what you are going through. College is a great experience and I am here to help enrich your intellectual and social abilities to make your experience better.

When I am not busy with academics or extracurricular activities, I enjoy playing basketball and other sports around Austin. I also enjoy watching the Texas Longhorns Football and Basketball Teams (Go Horns!). Along with my sporty personality, I love to volunteer around the city of Austin. I love going to concerts around Austin and reading around campus.

During the 2009-2010 school years, I will be a member of Liberal Arts Council, Best Buddies and an Orientation Advisor. I believe my experience in these organizations will help uncover any questions or possible resources you may desire.
