Peer Mentors |

| Academic
peer mentors are talented upper-division students that assist TIP Scholars
with the transition from high school to college. TIP mentors help students become
well-integrated into the academic and extracurricular environment of the University
and serve as excellent role models for new UT students. Mentor groups typically
gather together once or twice a week for social or academic activities. Mentors
also provide free tutoring to TIP Scholars in their core academic classes. TIP
mentors receive professional training and are nationally certified as both mentors
and tutors. To learn more about this year's mentor team, please see the Mentor
Profiles link. |
