TIP's small college atmosphere, students have enhanced opportunities for faculty-student
interactions. TIP's small classes and seminars make it possible for students to
develop close relationships with their professors and establish healthy patterns
of interaction for the remainder of their tenure here at UT. We actively recruit
faculty with a strong interest in undergraduate education as well as research
expertise. Individualized guidance is available to each TIP Scholar through TIP's
professional team of academic advisors. Each student is given personalized assistance
in selecting and registering for courses. Our advisors have expertise in helping
students navigate the many degree plans available in the College of Natural Sciences
and the College of Liberal Arts. They ensure that students have the knowledge
to make well-educated choices during their academic careers. |
