John Ingram’s recent work in digital photography combines his interest in nature and science. John holds university degrees in Chemistry, Geophysics, and Aeronautical and Engineering Sciences. He has worked as a professor of mathematical sciences at Rice University, and corporate vice president and chief technical officer of Schlumberger Limited. Most recently, he has served on the external advisory boards of the School of Earth and Planetary Sciences at California Institute of Technology, the School of Computer Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University, and the Center for Research in Parallel Computation at Rice University. His photographs have been recently featured in exhibitions at Austin Bergstrom International Airport and he is working on a text about the use and future of digital photography in the study of nature.
