Visitation

In 1939, 600 people visited TMM. These days, the Museum receives approximately 65,000 visitors a year, from around the world -- more than half are schoolchildren.  Famous visitors include President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who set off the dynamite blast that broke ground for the construction of the Museum in 1936.
