Neithea texana var elongata
No perfect shells of this species had yet to be found at
the time of when H.T. Kniker had been collecting specimens. The ribs
are flattened on top and every third one is raised and somewhat
rounded at the top. These are found in the lower division of
the Buda Limestone, Austin; and Del Rio Clay, Austin and San Marcos,
Texas.
