Keith Young (1918-2004)
Ph.D. University of Wisconsin
Joined UTDGS in 1948 as a Cretaceous stratigrapher.
Responsible for the cataloguing of both the Adkins and the UT collections. Instrumental in the transfer of both collections to TMM.
His collection includes outstanding examples of Cretaceous rudists and ammonites from Texas and Mexico.
Described many type specimens from the Trans Pecos of Texas and Chihuahua, Mexico.
